Gawker exposes plagiarism at Rodale

Men's Health Editor Plagiarizes His Own Authors reports Maureen O'Connor in Gawker. Men's Health editor Dave Zinczenko has been stripping other writers' bylines from old Men's Health articles and recycling them in his "Eat This, Not That" column for Yahoo! Health. Check out this story for examples of his plagiarism.

Rodale's defense, "The byline doesn't take credit for the work, but serves as an overarching tag," suggests a gross misunderstanding of copyright and credits.

As explained in the blog Regret the Error, buying all rights to a story doesn't mean the right to put someone else's byline on a story.
